Its standout: one of the few apps here that also places a download button on the post-purchase thank-you page, not just the product page. The tradeoff — we didn't find a customer-facing search feature in its listing, so it's built for attaching files, not for search by SKU across a catalog.

Agile Attachments

Best for: stores that want spec sheets or brochures auto-generated from product data instead of manually uploading a separate PDF per product.

Agile Attachments supports two kinds of documents: static files (manuals, user guides, certificates) and dynamically generated PDFs built from your product's own data. Its standout is auto-generating a spec sheet from product fields — a genuinely different approach from every other app here, worth a look if you'd rather not create a PDF by hand for every SKU. The tradeoff: auto-generated sheets are only as good as your underlying product data, and, like Product PDF Download, we didn't find a customer search feature listed.

Easify Product Attachments

Best for: stores that want a free, no-code way to attach files to a product page without evaluating a paid plan first.

Easify Product Attachments is completely free with no paid tiers, installed on roughly 1,480 Shopify stores at the time of writing. It attaches PDFs, links and even audio files, and isn't limited to product pages. Its standout is being free with no upsell, plus link and audio attachments beyond just PDFs. The tradeoff: being free and general-purpose, it doesn't offer the product-linking-at-scale or coverage-tracking tools a larger, document-heavy catalog eventually needs.
