What file types can I upload?

Compass Docs supports PDFs, manuals, spec sheets, warranties, and other supported product files.

How do customers find documents?

Customers can browse documents on product pages through the document block, or use the search widget to find documents by product title, SKU, or product number.

Does it work with my theme?

Yes. Compass Docs uses Shopify's app block system, so it integrates with any Online Store 2.0 compatible theme through the theme editor. No coding required.

Is there a document limit?

Each plan supports a set number of products — from 5 on the Free plan up to 5,000 on Premium — and you can attach the documents each product needs.

How does it affect my store?

Documents load only when needed, so the widget is designed to stay lightweight on your product pages.

Can I import documents in bulk?

Bulk import is available on the Growth and Premium plans.

Is there a free trial?

Paid plans include a 7-day free trial, and there is a Free plan for up to 5 products.

How do I get support?
